Voter Intimidation Letters/Emails

The Virginia Fusion Center is aware of various voter intimidation letters circulating through social media platforms.  These messages have been seen in digital format as well as hard copy letters with mentions of targeting supporters of both Presidential candidates.

Reports from around the country indicate this is not an isolated incident.  Agencies are working with federal partners to determine the source of these messages.

As we approach Election day it is likely these messages will continue to circulate.
