Counterterrorism Considerations for Waterfront Locations

Terrorists may continue to focus their efforts against waterfront locations 1 because of the potential for mass casualty events and restricted access. Previous attack plots targeting waterfront locations included various tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), such as the use of firearms, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and vehicular ramming. First responders should consider these TTPs when coordinating with local, state, federal, and private-sector partners.

Food Defense: Securing the Food Sector – Threats & Vulnerabilities

What is Food Defense? Food Defense is the prevention of both intentional and unintentional contamination of the food supply. The FBI works with its State, Local, Tribal, and Food Sector Private Industry Partners to attempt to reduce vulnerability to intentional contamination, helping to investigate and mitigate the effects of intentional adulteration. Why target the food supply? Deliberate contamination could cause significant consequences: Physical, economic, psychological, and political.
