DHS hope that you will join your private and public sector colleagues at the upcoming Virginia Corporate Security Symposium on February 23, 2023, hosted by Huntington Ingalls Industries, held at the Virginia Advanced Shipbuilding & Carrier Integration Center (VASCIC), 2401 West Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607.

The Virginia Corporate Security Symposium is open to personnel in the private sector, state, and local government, as well as personnel supporting the homeland security mission. The Virginia Corporate Security Symposium will feature speakers from the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation, other U.S. Government entities, state, and local agencies, as well as the private sector.

Speakers at this day-long event will address a wide range of homeland security topics including

• Maritime Security; Insider Threat
• Power of Collaboration: Intelligence and Information Sharing
• Addressing Workplace Violence
• Ransomware Case Study; Cyber Mitigation and Response
• Supply Chain Disruption and Vulnerabilities: Current State and Future Impacts
• Use and Abuse of Social Media: Misinformation and Disinformation. 

The Virginia CSS is jointly facilitated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Intelligence and Analysis and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Domestic Security Alliance Council; and is hosted by Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc.
