This product Aids public safety personnel in dealing with threatening or concerning behaviors that might be indicative of future acts of targeted violence, including terrorism This approach provides options for responding to individuals whose behavior demonstrates they are at risk of committing future acts of violence, particularly when traditional law enforcement tools are unavailable, by working with non–law enforcement community partners.
Domestic Extremism and Violent Extremism Awareness
The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), in partnership with the Virginia State Police, is pleased to announce Domestic Extremism and Violent Extremism Awareness training. Funding for this training is provided through the Department of Homeland Security’s Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant.
