billion dollar industry. What is human trafficking and how does it affect me?
Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery that occurs in every state, including
Virginia. More than 100,000 children are exploited annually in the USA. Victims of
human trafficking, and those that are targeted by traffickers, can be from any
race, age, ethnicity, social or economic group, gender, sexual orientation or level of
academic achievement. Everyone plays a role in helping to end human trafficking!
