Safe Worship 2025

The Albemarle & Charlottesville Police Departments are happy to
present to the Faith Community SafeWorship 2025! This free, day
long training event on May 16, 2025, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, at 735 Park Street, Charlottesville, Virginia, will equip local Houses of Worship and faith-based organizations to provide safe & secure environments to
their congregations, visitors, and others as they gather together. Registration closes Tuesday, May 13, 2025, and participation is limited to the first 100 attendees who register. Lunch is provided.

Nonprofit Security Grant Program

The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack. The intent is to integrate nonprofit preparedness activities with broader state and local preparedness efforts. It is also designed to promote coordination and collaboration in emergency preparedness activities among public and private community representatives, as well as state and local government agencies.

The 7th Annual Security Operations Summit 2025

This year's national summit will be in San Antonio, TX at Cornerstone Church. Attendees from approximately 40 states will come together for renewed vision, essential resources, expanded knowledge and increased connectivity with other church security operators across the U.S.
