Training: Domestic Extremism And Violent Extremism Awareness
The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), in partnership with the Virginia State Police, is pleased to announce Domestic Extremism and Violent Extremism Awareness training. Funding for this training is provided through the Department of Homeland Security’s Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant.
Active Shooter Incidents in the United States in 2021
The FBI has designated 61 shootings in 2021 as active shooter incidents.
This report is part of a series of FBI active shooter-related products published since September 2014. These reports are not intended to explore all facets of active shooter incidents but rather intended to provide law enforcement officers, other first responders, corporations, educators, and the public with a baseline understanding of active shooter incidents.
