BlackSuit threat actors, formerly known as Royal, have demanded over $500 million USD and gain initial access to victim networks using several means, such as phishing, compromising remote desktop protocol vulnerabilities, exploiting vulnerable public-facing applications, and brokers that harvest virtual private network credentials from stealer logs.
