Securing your facility against armed intruders, violent crime, theft or vandalism is serious business. There are many things you can do to reduce your risk exposure and keep your people and property safe. Is your organization prepared? 

Every place of worship is different in size and design. The design and purpose may be as different as the theology and philosophy taught inside. Therefore, a security program must be uniquely designed for your facility, placing equal priorities on the safety of people, programs, property, and preparedness for emergencies. 

This is a "model" or "sample" plan and does not cover every issue that you may want to consider in the development of such a plan. Add your own annexes and information as needed. You are encouraged to adapt, revise, and change these plans to meet your own unique circumstances. Ensure that your planes comply with applicable laws.
